The Gosling Award for Scientific Excellence Awarded to Local High-School Student
GRIPP is very pleased to announce Ms. Devanshi Shukla as the first recipient of the Gosling Award for Scientific Excellence. Ms. Devanshi Shukla, conducted research on quorum sensing mechanisms of the bioluminescent bacteria Vibrio fischeri and its potential in identifying novel medicinal plants.
Her project poster was presented in numerous competitions both at the provincial and Canada wide stage. She was presented with an Award of Merit and Best in Division Award (Biotechnology) at the regional level and awarded the Challenge Award for Innovation and a Gold Medal Excellence Award at the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF).
