GRIPP Inaugurates Cryo-Bank Facility

With the continuing generosity of the Gosling Foundation and Dr. Phillip R. Gosling C.M. LL.D, GRIPP initiated the development of a state-of-the-art Cryo-Bank facility in the fall of 2013. On June 25th, 2014 the facility was officially opened with Dr. Gosling storing the very first sample in the Cryo-Bank.

With this facility, GRIPP hopes to innovate and apply the latest advances in cryobiology to preserve endangered species from across the globe, beginning and prioritizing with Canadian flora.
